Our Team
A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s (formerly Ryerson University) Radio and Television program, Katherine started her professional career in radio production and promotions, before later transitioning to live stream production. After years of assisting in running a production studio in Mississauga – serving a wide variety of medium and large sized enterprises – Katherine made the move to join AJAG Professional Development. As part of her new role, she helped to build this new studio within in the AJAG office in Richmond Hill. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys hiking, canoeing, kayaking and taking her dog Peanut Butter to the park.
A graduate of Trebas Institute’s Audio Engineering program, Marissa has over 10 years experience in media production. She started out in the corporate marketing world and moonlighted in live music before becoming a studio manager under the guidance of Toronto indie filmmakers, the Deane brothers. She credits her versatility to that early opportunity. The latter part of her career has been focused on virtual and hybrid events, particularly in podcast production. After mostly virtual work the past few years, Marissa is excited to be part of this new studio team. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys cooking, singing, tinkering with A/V equipment and playing video games.
